In recent years, the Chinese government has gradually increased the investigation and punishment of commercial bribery cases. According to the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People's Republic of China, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and the Shanghai Administration for Industry & Commerce have investigated and dealt with several cases of commercial bribery in the auto components, especially in the auto tire industry. In the law enforcement process, how to determine the commercial bribery, what is the application rules of <Anti-Unfair Competition Law>, and how companies do a better job of compliance management, have becoming collective questions of more and more auto components suppliers.
In addition, trademark management has become one of the focusing fields of law enforcement. In the context of the vigorous development of online third-party platform, it is vital for enterprises to learn how to protect their trademark from infringement problems, and how Industry & Commerce Supervision Bureau make judgments. Understanding the logics behind the policy enforcement and practice of supervisors, and the red lines in the process of law enforcement is of much importance to the interest of enterprises.
To offer a comprehensive perspective on aforementioned issues, the chamber will invite Mr. Mao Zhongliang, Deputy Director from the Shanghai Administration for Industry & Commerce Supervision Bureau to deliver a presentation (in Chinese) to provide a further analysis and explanation on this topic.
