The European Union Chamber of Commerce (European Chamber), German Chamber of Commerce, American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China), and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) jointly invite you to an afternoon tea session to discuss anti-trust law and its implicationson on automotive sector on Tuesday, 17 November 2015.
For several years, sporadic rumours have been circulating within the China automotive industry that the government will step up enforcement of a 2008 Anti-trust law. Over the past year, these rumours have materialized as various Chinese regulatory bodies have begun investigating automotive and parts companies for alleged anti-trust and improper market behaviours. Therefore, automotive companies should better prepare themselves to understand anti-trust law in order to avoid and respond to such investigations.
