Job description
The BDM’s primary role is to identify and constantly develop new leads to achieve monthly sales targets as part of an annual sales plan under the direction of our local General Manager in Shanghai.
The successful candidate must be motivated and independent, and will hold responsibility for the generation of new leads, relationship development, and the defining, negotiation and closing of deals.
Responsibilities:
• Pursue a personal sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Identify and develop leads and prospects, including cold calling
• Set up meetings and engage prospects to pitch IMA Asia services
• Successfully follow through closing activities
Skills & experience
• 3+ years of experience and track record as a corporate sales processional
• Bi-lingual: strong written and spoken English and Mandarin communication skills
• Confident and personable with a natural ability to develop good rapport with corporate executives
• Well-established personal network along with the willingness to participate actively in relevant professional organizations
• Good team player who can communicate openly and coordinate well internally across our other offices
• Strong affinity for global economic, political and management issues
• Bachelors or Master’s Degree required.
