Data sharing is a topic that is gaining traction worldwide.

The EU, for example, is enacting horizontal and sectoral legislation to further boost data sharing. The European strategy for data of February 2020 also foresaw the creation of common European data spaces in strategic sectors such as manufacturing, mobility and green deal. One of the most prominent data spaces is Catena-X, the first collaborative, open ecosystem for the automotive industry of the future, linking global players into end-to-end value chains, with the shared goal of a standardized global data exchange.

In China, at the end of 2022, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council jointly issued the Opinions on Building Basic Systems for Data to Better Give Full Play to the Role of Data Resources (Twenty Data Measures), aiming at fully leveraging China’s abundant data resources and rich application scenarios, and shedding light on Chinese-style data governance. Since then, relevant government agencies have stepped up efforts in exploring concrete policy measures.

In the era of the Internet of Things (IoT), network security has become an indispensable part of the market and companies. IT security and data protection are highly complex topics. Due to the explosive growth of data and information, IT security risks seem to be ubiquitous. These security risks not only pose a threat to intellectual property, but may also lead to a reputation crisis for companies and organizations, and even cause economic losses. The Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange (TISAX) is an assessment and exchange mechanism launched by the Verband der Automobilindustrie and the European Network Exchange Association in 2017, aiming to reduce possible repeated assessments.

The designated online network platform provides support for cross enterprise information security evaluation and exchange in the automotive industry. The ENX is responsible for managing TISAX, including platform operations. Applicants can share their evaluation information through this platform and confirm with their direct business partners or any other company participating in the TISAX project that their information security level meets the requirements of TISAX.

In this seminar about TISAX, the speaker will explain the basic knowledge in the field of information security in the automotive industry. Audience will gain an in-depth understanding of VDA-ISA and TISAX and learn the basic content and objectives of information security management. Through this seminar, audience will master the necessary basic knowledge to support various aspects of internal information security management construction within his/her organization.
