The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and the German Chamber of Commerce in China - Shanghai jointly welcome you to attend this event about China's Social Credit System (SCS) which will take place on Thursday 29th August 2019 at Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai.
The European Chamber has partnered with Sinolytics to provide a thorough analysis of the Chinese Social Credit System (SCS). This major report outlines how European companies can begin to deal with the acute disruptions that the SCS will bring, as well as the issues they will have to address to ensure compliance. Sinolytics CEO Björn Conrad will present the main study results, and will then follow with a panel discussion with Dr Stephan Kothrade, President Functions Asia Pacific, President and Chairman Greater China, BASF, and Ms Mirjam Meissner, Director, Sinolytics, moderated by Mr Thomas Hancock, China Consumer Correspondant at the Financial Times.
Are businesses prepared for this? What opportunities and challenges for companies are foreseen? What are the specific implications in the short and long term? And what developments are expected in the coming months?
