IPR Working Group Meeting: IP Protection in China’s Digital Economy

The global pandemic has further accelerated the digital transformation of businesses resulting in increased reliance on e-commerce platforms, boom in the AI-related industries and digitalisation of production and delivery processes. With digitalisation of businesses, consumption too has increasingly moved online. Intellectual property (IP) is crucial to digital economy as it drives innovation and provides SMEs with comparative advantage over competitors.
