质量控制和质量管理在供应商管理中扮演着非常重要的角色，随着社会生产力的发展，社会分工越来越细，专业化程度也越来越高，供应商质量管理的重要性日益凸现，由供应商提供的原材料直接关系着最终产品的质量，因而原材料的质量已成为多米诺骨牌中的第一张。无论是采购工程师还是质量工程师，都必须从采购和质量两个角度对供应商进行管理。
本课程就是本着这个原则——质量和采购——展开供应商质量管理的，向学员讲解丰富的采购中的质量问题，包括了采购和质量的战略分析，供应商全面质量管理，采购质量检验和质量控制技术，供应商质量管理是供应商管理的一个环节，供应商管理是流程管理的一部分，因而，本课程的切入点是公司内部的供应商管理，目的是高瞻远瞩，使供应商质量管理人员从更高的视野看问题。课程的另一特点是以大量的案例做支撑。

On November 6th, the European Union Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, Mr. Vytenis Andriukaitis, has participated in the China International Food Safety and Quality Conference held in Shanghai, where he gave an opening speech on EU-China enhanced cooperation in the food safety field. For both the European Union and China, food safety and cooperation in this area is a preoccupation of critical importance, as safety, traceability, regulatory and fraud issues in the food industry have the potential to hamper trade between the two partners.
