On July 27th, Shanghai’s Index fell a dramatic 8.5 percent –the single day largest drop since 2007-, while Shenzhen’s sank by 7.6 percent. Starting from January 2015 new "Handling Procedures for Foreigners entering China for the Accomplishment of Short-term Work Assignments" are implemented on a trial basis. They allow foreigners to work for certain short assignments (in general less than 90 days) based on an M-/F- (business) or Z-type visa. This might also be a legal solution for some foreign interns in China.
