The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, Pearl River Delta Chapter invites members to participate in the government meeting with Guangdong Provincial Administration for Industry & Commerce (AIC).
With aim to strengthen the dialogue between European companies operating in Guangzhou and the local government. This meeting expects to bring together officials from GD AIC, who will engage with member companies in Q&A session and explain over China's New Trademark Law .
About Guangdong Provincial Administration for Industry & Commerce (AIC).
AIC is the department under Guangdong Provincial People’s Government in charge of supervision and administration for the market as well as administrative enforcement of law. Its main responsibilities are: enforce state guidelines and policies, laws and regulations on industrial and commercial administration; research and formulate the policy of industrial and commercial administration in Guangdong province; consigned to research and draft local regulations and rules concerning industrial and commercial administration as well as implementing it. The system of trademark law in mainland China is administered by the China Trade Mark Office or CTMO (with an appeal function administered by the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board and the courts). Both are divisions of the State Administration for Industry & Commerce (SAIC).
