Message to European Chamber Members: Articles of Association
The Executive Committee of the European Chamber is kindly requesting members to review a proposal to amend the Chamber’s Articles of Association. The changes proposed by the Executive Committee are important and will allow the Chamber to function better by ensuring wider representation, strengthening member rights, allowing for greater continuity within the board and facilitating future elections by introducing new voting methods. The Nanjing Board Election where Nanjing Representative & Chairman of the Board (1) and Nanjing Board positions (4) are elected, will take place on 14 April 2016 at 16:00 at Shangri’ la Nanjing.
Please note that the nomination period is officially closed.

Your vote counts! This is an opportunity to have a say and give your feedbacks on Chamber's activities in 2016.
Who can vote?
You can vote if you:
1. Are the Designated Representative (the main contact between the European Chamber and your comapny);
2. Are an European member with operations in China;
3. Are a member of one our working groups or forums, and;
4. Have paid dues for the year 2016 (please make sure that the Chamber has received and confirmed your membership payment by 12 April 2016.
Who can attend the board election meetings?
All members (including those who do not meet the requirements for voting and standing for election), with paid dues, have the right to participate. However, only members who meet the above mentioned 4 criteria can vote.
How can I vote?
1) In person by secret ballot at the elections venue. Please note that even if you have voting rights confirmed by the Secretariat of the Chamber, you must have registered for the Board Elections in order to exercise this vote by 11 April 2016.
2) Assign a proxy to vote on your behalf by 11 April 2016. Please fill in the Proxy Form and send a scanned copy to Mei Zhang at mzhang@europeanchamber.com.cn or in person at the Chamber office in Nanjing (Room 806, Haihua Building, No. 99 Zhongshan Road, Nanjing).
For Nanjing Board Election the proxy must be a colleague from your own legal entity and must be present. This requirement has only one exception for the Individual member, who may give his/her proxy to another individual member/corporate member in Nanjing Chapter.
Proxies received after the deadline and in a format different from those listed above won’t be accepted.
