欧洲企业在华运营仍然面临许多困难。中国欧盟商会2018年《商业信心调查》结果显示欧洲企业在华营商环境更加艰难，包括长期以来存在的监管障碍，市场准入限制以及不公平待遇等问题。除此之外还出现了新的挑战，例如他们需要与创新能力快速发展的本土企业竞争，然而欧洲企业不惧挑战，连续两年财务业绩表现强劲。
