On 14th May, the European Chamber had several productive meetings with the provincial and municipal officials in Shenyang, Liaoning Province.
Led by President Mr Davide Cucino, Chamber representatives (Mr Florian Schmied, Chairman of Shenyang Board, Mr Adam Dunnett, Secretary General, Ms Coral Gao Shan, the new General Manager of the Shenyang Chapter and other Shenyang Board members) paid a pleasant visit to Mr Bing Zhigang, Vice Governor of Liaoning Province.
President Cucino greeted the Vice Governor and presented Position Paper 2012/13, while representatives learned about Liaoning’s policy priorities for the near future and the government’s expectations of the Chamber as a partner organization. Keys insights from the Position Paper and the 2013 Business Confidence Survey were delivered to the Vice Governor.
On the same day, Chamber representative also met with Mr Huang Kai, Vice Mayor of Shenyang. Both parties discussed opportunities for future cooperation.
