On February 21, Regulatory Plan and Comprehensive Urban Design for Tianfu New City (hereinafter referred to as Regulatory Plan) was principally approved. According to the Regulatory Plan, Tianfu New City is positioned as a pre-eminent center of commerce headquarters, finance as well as exhibitions and expositions in western China, a functional area oriented in modern services industries, a business-administrative centre and a public service centre for culture, education, sports and medical care. As the core district of Tianfu New Area, Tianfu New City is situated in the centre of “one city, six zones”, with a planning area of 119 square kilometers. It will be the administration centre of Tianfu New Area.
天府新城规划出炉
《四川省成都天府新区天府新城控制性详细规划及总体城市设计》（以下简称详规）于2月21 日获原则性通过。根据该详规，天府新城总体定位为西部地区重要的总部商务中心、金融中 心和会展博览中心，以现代服务业为主导的城市功能区，城市重要的商业中心、行政中心以 及文化、教育、体育、医疗等公共服务中心。作为天府新区核心区域，天府新城位于天府新区“一城六区”的中心，规划总面积119平方公里，将成为天府新区的管理中心。
