MEETING WITH CHINA QUALITY SUPERVISING AND TEST CENTER FOR GAS APPLIANCES

On 11 October, Ms Tiantian Qi, Lead of the European Chamber Heating Sub-Working Group, led 25 ECHI members joined a close door separate dialogue with the Director of China Quality Supervising and Test Center For Gas Appliances (CGAC) and their delegation at the CGAC annual conference in Zunyi.

Standards topics on GB20665-2015, GB25034-2020 which was promulgated on 11 October 2020 and will be formally implemented from 01 November 2021, were discussed. In response to the official implementation of the new national standard, members of the European Chamber Heating Sub-Working Group have conducted a pre-study and collective discussion on the content of the standard and report back to CGAC at this meeting. Furthermore, ECHI members were gathered 3rd time this year with the CGAC officials to seek guidance on the practical aspects of implementing the standard and the coordination of GB standards and the 3C 2010/2020 version.
