Launch of the European Business in China Position Paper 2007/2008The European Chamber Pearl River Delta chapter is delighted to announce that we launched our European Business in China Position Paper 2007/2008 on 19th of October in Guangzhou.
The Position Paper is published every year and represents the overall view of European companies doing business in China. It details the key concerns and recommendations of each of the 30 Working Groups in regard to WTO implementation issues, trade issues beyond China's WTO commitments, regulatory issues and broader policy-related issues. The Position Paper is presented to the Chinese government and EU authorities each year with the aim of improving the investment climate in China.
The European Chamber hopes that the publication, which is written and compiled by members of the Chamber’s Working Groups, will assist China in its continuing efforts to improve the overall investment environment for both domestic and foreign companies, by increasing transparency, equality of treatment, and predictability.
For the launch of the European Business in China Position Paper 2007/2008, the European Chamber will arrange a breakfast meeting, where a presentation and summary will be given on the results of the publication.
In view of this event, the European Chamber is now inviting all its members to take advantage of this opportunity to increase the company's visibility by sponsoring the event.
