Throughout the past few years, the EU has been revamping its regulatory toolbox in order to better address emerging economic, geopolitical, technological and climate challenges. As a number of these regulations will impact the China operations of European companies, the European Chamber brings to you the Interpreting the EU’s Toolbox Series, where experts will provide an overview of the instruments that are being rolled out. On 23rd February, the European Commission published a proposal for a Directive on Sustainable Corporate Governance. The European Chamber has invited Ms Orsolya Csorba, Counsellor for Competition, Justice and Consumer Policy at the Delegation of the European Union to China to provide a debriefing on the Commission’s proposal. Ms Csorba will provide the debriefing onsite in Beijing on Thursday, 31st March from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Members wishing to attend online will be provided a Zoom link.
