The next joint IPR Working Group and Legal & Competition Working Group meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday 25th September in Shanghai and Beijing.

This meeting will give us the opportunity to explore commonalities between the issues faced by both working groups, exchange insights and provide a platform for all those burning questions on IP, competition law or other legal issues you might have.

To kick off discussions, Paul Ranjard, Chair to the IPR Working Group in Beijing, will be holding a presentation on procedural issues for foreign litigants including POA for foreign litigants, transparency of procedures and case law.

Energy Working Group Meeting

Dear Working Group Members,

The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the next Energy Working Group Meeting: “Demand Side Management: recent policy developments in Shanghai”.

It will be held on 21 September, 16:00 – 18:00h at the European Chamber Shanghai office. The meeting will begin with guest speaker Mr.Xiao Mingwei, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economics and Information Technology, speaking on recent policy developments in Demand Side Management. This will be followed by a Q&A session. For the next part of the meeting, Joseph Van Der Elst, Chair of the Energy Working Group, and Daniel Sellers, EUCCC Energy Business Manager, will lead a discussion on the this year’s Position Paper and the action plan for the Energy WG in the coming months.
