On 10th October, the European Chamber attended the Best Practice Award Event on Work Safety Contest organised by the Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau (SEMB) and Shanghai Work Safety Commission. Mr MA Jianhong, Director-General of the SEMB delivered an opening remark, stressing the importance of work safety. 12 nominated companies presented their cases on work safety practices.
European Chamber member companies Covestro and Schneider Electrics were given the Best Practice Award, in recognition of their work on Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS). The European Chamber was given the Best Organiser Award in recognition of our support in promoting their contest application.
