European Chamber Vice President Bagnasco attended the 5th Quality Conference hosted by the Chinese Government

On behalf of the European Chamber, Vice President (VP) and Chair of the Southwest China Chapter Massimo Bagnasco attended the 5th Quality Conference on 1st September 2023, in Chengdu. VP Bagnasco made a speech, themed ‘Strengthening European Union-China Cooperation and Fostering the Development of Better-Quality Goods and Services Together’ at the opening ceremony. Over 800 participants from home and abroad attended the opening ceremony, including government leaders, heads of international organisations, diplomatic envoys and heads of quality-related government departments, as well as quality management personnel, experts and scholars, and well-known entrepreneurs.
The biannual conference is co-hosted by the State Administration for Market Regulation, the People’s Government of Sichuan Province and Chengdu Municipal People’s Government. It is aimed at sharing new international trends and concepts relating to quality, as well as practices of quality management, in order to facilitate closer international cooperation on quality, jointly promote quality reform and innovation, and enhance the connectivity of quality infrastructures, with the end goal of ensuring high-quality global economic development.
