European Chamber Co-organises Biogas Key Technology and Green Gas Supply and Demand Conference

On Thursday 18th May, the European Chamber, the Biomass Energy Industry Promotion Association and the China Agricultural University Biomass Energy Centre jointly held the Biogas (Bio Natural Gas) Key Technology and Green Gas Supply and Demand conference in Beijing.
Xu Zhonghua, national chair of the Energy Working Group made the opening remarks, along with Shi Lishan, former deputy director general (DG) of the Department of New and Renewable Energy of National Energy Administration, and Xu Cheng, professor at the China Agricultural University and former DG of the Department of Science and Education of the Ministry of Agriculture. Upstream, midstream and downstream enterprises in the green gas industry chain participated in the conference. Discussion topics included biogas industry outlook, application of key technologies in domestic and foreign biogas engineering projects, hydrogen and methanol production from biogas, high-value-added application of biogas residue and biogas liquid, and demand for green gas and green methanol among shipping and chemical companies.
