Seminar on Shanghai's New Regional Headquarter Policy

Ms. Liu Zhaohui, Director of Foreign Investment Administration Department of Shanghai Commerce Commission, presented the Revised Provisions of Shanghai Municipality on Encouraging Multinational Corporations to Establish Regional Headquarters to the European Chamber members. Ms. Liu’s presentation touched upon a few key issues including change of definition of regional headquarter, introduction of new immigration policy for talents, simplification of administrative approval process and adoption of new measure for funds management. The presentation was followed by a 45-minute Q&A.
