Open House Day of Atexis

In recent years, European companies could gain and profit by the rapid growing Chinese market. But on the other side European companies also brought a lot of benefits for China's regional economies. They created jobs for local Chinese, trained fresh university graduates, increased environmental and safety standards and all in all increased the living quality of Chinese people.

The campaign of 'We are a Chinese company, too' launched by European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is to promote the reputation and image of European business in China.

As part of the campaign, Atexis, a leading French producer of temperature sensors held an Open House Day on the morning of Thursday, May 24th, the objective of which is to present the contribution of European SMEs in West China.

Mr. Joerg Wuttke, President of European Union Chamber of Commerce came all the way from Beijing to attend this event, showing his support to the campaign. During the visit, Mr. Pascal Hermandesse, CEO of Atexis and also Chairman of European Union Chamber of Commerce in Chengdu, introduced the company briefly and then showed visitors around the plant.

Through this event, visitors learned that, SMEs like Atexis introduced their advanced technologies, management experience, marketing concepts and recruitment strategies to Chengdu, thus not only providing a valuable resource for local companies to improve their international competitiveness, but making great contributions by paying taxes, implementing environmental protection and so on.
