On Wednesday, 25^th October, panel discussion with Nanjing Customs was held in InterContinental Hotel by the European Chamber Nanjing Chapter to give first-hand Nanjing customs information to EU Chamber members. During the panel, representatives from Nanjing Customs provided related information about legislation and procedures related to customs control, revenue collection, fighting against smuggling, and foreign trade statistics compilation.

There were four representatives from Nanjing Custom Bureau and they are Xiao Chun, deputy researcher of Nanjing Customs Law Office and level 3 expert; Qiu Chenli, section chief of Custom & Excise Department of Nanjing Custom; Wang Yong, principal staff member of Enterprise Management Department; and Yang Hang, principal staff member and deputy chief of Jinling Custom in Nanjing Custom. One-hour speech was given by the Nanjing Custom Bureau. During the panel, they discussed harmonized system classification problem, custom clearance integration process, final destination inspection policy, AEO certification and application process, Certification Standard Article 26, and other related issues and questions.
