On 27th May, the Healthcare Equipment working group organised a working group meeting at the European Chamber's Beijing office. Thirty-one working group members took part in the meeting.
Li Jun, Deputy Director of China Medical Devices Standardisation Administration (CMDSA) of the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), gave a speech on development of Global Medical Device Nomenclature in China.
Jim Ren from GE Healthcare gave a presentation on IEC 60601-1-2 Gap analysis. Also the annual election for the positions of co-chair/vice chairs of the working group was successfully launched.
Finally, members actively discussed the Position Paper 2012-2013 and shared industry-related information.
