European Chamber Meets with SIPO Commissioner Tian Lipu

A delegation of the European Chamber led by the Chamber President Joerg Wuttke met with State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) Commissioner Tian Lipu on Friday 16th of October. Mr Wuttke presented the European Business in China Position Paper 2009/2010 to Commissioner Tian Lipu. Together with the chairs of the Chamber's IPR working group, the delegation also exchanged views with SIPO officials on the Implementing Rules for the Patent Law and other IPR related issues.

Mr. Tian thanked the European Chamber for the contribution on the Position Paper every year and briefed the delegation of the latest development of the Implementing Rules of the Patent Law and also answered questions raised by the Chamber delegation. 

Both sides believed that through enhanced cooperation and open discussions, the EU-China trade relation will be further enhanced.
