With the population growing, the world of today is exposed to increasing needs and shrinking natural resources. Numerous initiatives at UN and national level are attempting to restore some of the environmental imbalance. The finance industry has a part to play, too.
Generally seen as an arm of Socially Responsible Investing, Green Finance combines all financial transactions that favor the energy transition and fight against climate change. One of its main tools is green bonds, issued with the aim of financing ecological initiatives. Banks hold a pioneer role in an economic system which affects production, business and other economic activities through their financing activities.
Mark your diaries for the third event part of the Energize your Autumn series, this time on the topic of Green Finance. In this edition, BNP Paribas and SEB will speak about Green Financing in China. This event takes place at SEB Shanghai Branch, registration in advance is a must to guarantee access. All participants must bring the original ID/Passport to access the building.
