The target set by China to achieve Carbon peak in 2030 and carbon neutrality before 2060 after Xi made the remarks at the general debate of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly via video.
China would assume a greater role in taking more ambitious action on climate in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement and on biodiversity, and build a greener low carbon society after COVID-19 pandemic.
China will scale up national Contributions by adopting more vigorous policies and measures, and the business societies will pursue innovative, green strategy and plans to seize the historic opportunities and achieve a green fruitful development.
