Cultivating a conscious business is about cultivating awareness on every level within the organization from the individual to the teams to the upper management and the company’s vision and mission. It is about creating and nurturing a culture of quality consciousness.
Increasingly, companies are setting greater value on issues of quality, and reckoning with their ability to develop a Unique Selling Point within a more discerning and dynamic marketplace. At the same time, businesses are competing to hire the best talent from a burgeoning pool of motivated, young candidates.
All of this was unthinkable twenty years ago, when China was synonymous with competitive mass production and low-price points. How do we conceive of the diversifying powerhouse China has become? How should Chinese firms respond to the new focus on differentiation and quality outputs instead of low price? What can we make of these burgeoning trends?
The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is pleased to host this cross-cultural gathering of Chinese and European managers working in China, who will offer their insights into how to approach the real and rapid developments facing the Chinese market today and how their companies implemented a culture of quality consciousness Our esteemed speakers will draw on the experiences and expertise and how the developed a Unique Selling Point to deliver top quality services and products to their clients, thus capturing the most capable and aware staff.

Dr. Eveline Goodman - Hedtke
For more than ten years, Eveline has prepared individuals to approach challenging tasks with enthusiasm and ability, pushing them to grow beyond their own boundaries. She is trusted not only by international companies and renowned organizations – public figures too rely on her abilities to deliver results. She intimately understands the meaning of the words, “between the lines,” drawing on her personal and professional experience of juggling different cultures to see behind the psychological curtains. This background is, however, just the starting point from which she uses her enormous energy to put her ideas and vision into action. She combines her comprehensive academic education (Psychology and Neuroscience) with the practical lessons that arise in her life as an internationally-operating businesswoman to deliver success.
Her specialty – and her passion – is connecting talents and options. She recognizes potential, links it to tasks and positions, and takes pleasure in regularly overstepping the boundaries of conventional personnel and management training. For many years, she has lead workshops, presentations, road shows, and coaching sessions for individuals, companies, and organizations from diverse sectors (real estate, medicine, journalism, among others) – both in German and in English. Her charm, wit, and insight make her a memorable, individual, and – if need be – refreshingly undiplomatic consultant.
