Every year, China’s ‘Two Sessions (Lianghui)’ convenes the national legislature and top political advisory body to discuss key political and economic issues and make central decisions. In 2024, the second session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC) are set to be held in Beijing on the 4th and 5th March, respectively.
The Two Sessions hold significance for the international business community as they will establish the political and economic direction for China for 2024.
