As you may know, every year, the President of the European Chamber leads a delegation of senior representatives to present the annual Position Paper to high level representatives of the European Union Institutions in Brussels. This year the trip took place in the last week of September. To help member companies capture new opportunities emerging from the new opening-up policies, the Chamber will invite officials from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development to provide a review of Beijing’s construction sector in 2017 and an outlook for the new year, followed by insights on the implementation of the pilot plan in Beijing as well as roundtable discussion with the members.
