This widely applicable convention, with the highest number of contracting members under the Hague Conference on Private International Law, aims to streamline the cross-border circulation of public documents. This change significantly reduces both the time and economic costs associated with document processing for both Chinese and foreign citizens and businesses, thereby facilitating international trade and personal exchanges.

In order to further establish and improve the accident investigation and evaluation system, Shanghai is working to formulate the "Measures for the Evaluation of the Implementation of Rectification and Prevention Measures of Production Safety Accidents in Shanghai".
