Are your company’s compliance and pricing practices raising flags under China’s Anti-Monopoly Law (AML)? In light of the National Development and Reform Commission’s (NDRC) recent series of investigations into the gold and pharmaceuticals industries, and the pricing of infant formula, the European Chamber wants to help our members to better understand the implementation rules and enforcement under the AML.
On 4th November, we will facilitate an exclusive dialogue with Li Qing,Deputy Director General from the NDRC Price Supervision and Anti-Monopoly Bureau. During this seminar, Li Qing will provide an update on the recent AML investigations, introduce the key points of future enforcement activities and guidelines under the AML, as well as answer audience questions on anti-trust investigation standards and procedures.
The Price Supervision and Anti-Monopoly Bureau is responsible for drafting administrative laws and regulations for price supervision and inspection; guiding and organising price supervision and inspection; handling activities and cases related to commodity pricing, service pricing and fee collection involving violation of price-related laws by central government agencies; handling price monopoly activities; and reconsideration cases and appeals concerning the punishment of price violations.
For the Q&A session scheduled after the presentation, all questions need to be submitted in advance.
