The European Chamber in Shanghai European is glad to invite you to a breakfast seminar on long-term legal strategies to set up operations in China.
Companies moving into the Chinese market or expanding their activities nowadays cannot only look at the next two or three years but need a long term strategy. Choosing the appropriate legal set up is crucial for the success in China. At the same time more and more investment vehicles have been developed and are available for foreign companies in China.

2. Sebastien Thierry, Senior Legal Counsel of Alcatel Asia Pacific Region, Alcatel Shanghai Bell - Alcatel was the first foreign company to receive the approval to set up its Asia Pacific Regional Head Quarter in Shanghai in 2002 and Mr Thierry will share with us the experience of his company.
