China is moving from imitation to innovation. Chinese companies increasingly use innovation as a
source of competitive advantage. Foreign multinational companies increasingly conduct innovation
activities in China both for the Chinese market and for global markets. This conference brings
together chief executives, innovation leaders, strategy consultants, policy makers and leading
professors from China and Europe to address these issues. The focus of the conference is on how
companies can do more and better innovative business in China.
Taking place on the Beijing campus of CEIBS on 29-30 November, this conference is organised
in the framework of the EU-China Business Management Training (BMT) Project, funded by the
European Union. The conference programme will be based on the expertise of the Centre on China
Innovation at CEIBS and be followed by EFMD introductory accreditation seminars.
