The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to join a breakfast seminar where speaker Michael Sanger from Mobley Group Pacific Ltd. will be sharing the results of fascinating recent studies into managers in China and how they compare to their Western counterparts.
The presentation will include insights on:
China’s growing influence on the global economy, current organizational trends pertaining to China’s inbound investments and acquisitions abroad, and the implications of the leadership styles of managers from the Chinese Mainland. Differences in leadership styles within Mainland China, specifically in the context of managers working for Chinese State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in comparison to their counterparts in multinational corporations (MNCs). Samples from Mainland China, Australia, US and Germany will be discussed in the context of China’s outbound acquisitions.
This seminar is a must-attend event for any company seeking to recruit, retain and nurture Chinese management, shedding new light on how to best bolster localisation and integration in this increasingly competitive talent market.
About the speaker
Michael Sanger is a consultant at Mobley Group Pacific Ltd. While working with senior executives and management teams from a range of leading multinational corporations, state owned enterprises and local Chinese organizations, Michael has designed and implemented comprehensive assessment centers, coached senior executives through career transitions and assessed senior executives through psychological interviewing and psychometric interpretation.
His expertise is specialized around integrating qualitative and quantitative psychological data to derive meaningful conclusions and actionable recommendations as well as in facilitating senior level team development workshops. He received his B.A. in Psychology from State University of New York at Albany, and was awarded his M.A in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University.
