Evermore stringent legislation, a growing public awareness and increasing stakeholder demand for accountability in the supply chain have given rise to a number of quality, environmental, safety, hygiene and social management requirements. This month's FMA intends to differentiate between the ISO systems involved and discuss how they can generate a cost benefit by operating to the standards.
The first part of the session will be looking at the key systems, what's involved and how to maintain them once certified.
We will be taking a look at:
n Environmental Management ISO 14001
n Quality Management ISO 9001
n Occupational Health & Safety OHSAS18001
This will be presented by DEKRA WIT, subsidiary of the world's third largest testing, inspection and certification (TIC) organisation, German based DEKRA SE. They have kindly agreed to offer a special 20% FMA discount on all their services for FMA attendees only (valid until 31 December 2010).
The second part will be a case study, Arnold Magnetics, the world's leading and largest magnetic products manufacturer, will be sharing their experiences of getting certified and what it has meant for them.
