Dear HCE Working Group Members,
The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to a special lunch seminar on August 31st at Sofitel Hyland Hotel Shanghai, designed to bring together HR professionals for debate over the HR issues facing the healthcare and medical devices sector.
Being both a fast-developing area in China as well as one requiring employees with sometimes very specific skills, healthcare industry is a source of some very specific and far-reaching HR challenges - challenges that are destined to grow in complexity and scale as Chinese society grows and medical services become more widely available.
This event will be exploring a range of topics, including:
Ÿ What will be the impact for the industry per central government’s pin-pointed direction in developing health care coverage for the people, both urban and rural?
Ÿ What are the opportunities for MNCs in serving a gradual aging nation, both in terms of supplying devices and services ( i.e. insurance, medical check-ups, hospital capacity & service quality, etc)
Ÿ What are the challenges in the industry’s talent supply and demand situation?
Ÿ What are some current best practices in coping such challenges?
