The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to our next CSR Forum meeting on Tuesday 18 May, 9am – 11am. We will discuss the 1st draft CSR Position in the European Chamber Position Paper 2010-2011 (see attached) and invite a special speaker as guest to speak in depth about the status of CSR in China. Important message to all members of the CSR Forum:
Our Position Papers will be widely read by high level persons and organisations around the world; Chinese Ministers and EU Commissioners, to name just a few. They will read it, use it and they will follow up on our positions. It is therefore of absolute and pertinent importance that all of you contribute to the content and the quality of our positions. This will be key for achieving the CSR goals that we so hardly strive for here in China.

WEDNESDAY 28 APRIL , 5pm DEADLINE: Read the attached 1st draft and give your input to the Business Manager
THURSDAY 29 APRIL Business Manager distributes 2nd consolidated draft to the WG Members
FRIDAY 7 MAY DEADLINE: Members submit their further comments to the 2nd draft to Business Manager
FRIDAY 14 MAY, 5pm Business Manager circulates 3rd draft to all members inviting comments
TUESDAY 18 MAY, 9am CSR Forum meeting to discuss all received comments
THURSDAY 20 MAY DEADLINE: last possibility for members to provide input to the Position Paper drafts
Thereafter: NO POSSIBILITY ANY MORE TO CHANGE CONTENT.The chinese translation, proof reading and printing stages of the PP will commence. Publication: September 2010.

- Shorter than last year; from current 3 pages to 2 pages
- Easy to read and accessible for lay persons
- Practical and usable for (government) engagement
- Revise and submit drafts using Track Changes

Football For Life” (FFL) is a joint initiative by CAI and ClubFootball who have come together sharing the same vision of grassroots soccer as a force for good in the lives of children affected by migration. The project establishes high-quality, football programmes at schools for the children of migrant workers with qualified foreign coaches and budding local coaches teaching football and life skills in a fun, bilingual environment, to offer students both healthy exercise and an enjoyable, educational experience.
