THIS EVENT IS FULLY BOOKED. WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY MORE PARTICIPANTS.
Venue: The Portman Ritz-Carlton Hotel 1376 Nanjing Xi Lu (cnr. Xi Kang Road)
Overview:
Best Employers in China grow more profitably! This is a key finding from the analysis of China participants in Hewitt's recent Best Employers in Asia study. Best Employers in China have more highly engaged employees, do a better job aligning their HR strategies and practices with their business goals and strategies, and are better positioned to build sustainability of their businesses in this hyper-competitive, rapidly changing, and often difficult market.
With talent shortages affecting even the best companies in China, it is even more critical to be an employer of choice. What do Best Employers in China do that is different? What are their employees saying about those companies? How do they do on retaining the people they need? What do they do differently around, for example, leadership, performance management and rewards?
AmCham Shanghai, in conjunction with the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China and the German Chamber of Commerce, invite you to an afternoon of sharing and learning on "best" practices from best employers. Hear from companies representing China and the region's Best Employers including The Portman Ritz-Carlton and Johnson and Johnson Medical China on the things they do that help them attract, engage, and retain their people. Also hear from Hewitt Associates about the main findings of the 2005 study, and share perspectives with others who have opinions to share, questions to ask, and stories to tell on these issues.
