The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the 2024 kick-off meeting of the Construction Working Group. It will be held on Monday 4th March 2024, 14:00 – 16:00 offline at the European Chamber Beijing and Shanghai offices, as well as online.
At this meeting, Max Feng, General Manager at Spaceframe, will deliver a presentation on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) practices for industrial projects in China. The meeting will also include the 2024/2025 WG Chair and Vice Chair Elections, and the 2024/2025 Position Paper Kickoff. At the kick-off, members will have the opportunity to discuss the Key Recommendations and Advocacy work of the Construction WG over the past year and give recommendations on the next Position Paper.
In accordance with European Chamber guidelines, another email will be sent to the Working Group prior to the election, with the biographies and motivation letters of all candidates attached.
In order to vote for the election, you must register to vote with Ms Kalina Pateva (kpateva@europeanchamber.com.cn ) and Ms Nan Song (nsong@europeanchamber.com.cn ) up to 24 hours before the election. There may only be one vote per company – if more than one member from the same company would like to attend the meeting, please clearly indicate which member will vote in the election. Voting will take place after each candidate has had the opportunity to give a short election speech.
The duration of the term for both Chairs and Vice Chairs is one year. All elected Chairpersons must sign the Code of Conduct following election.
