During this meeting,  Ms. Carrie Zhuo, Manager, Mobility Sales, TÜV SÜD Greater China, will present the latest update on connected and autonomous driving regulations in 2022.

In 2021, Germany introduced the possibility of permitting Level 4 vehicles on public roads by adapting the Road Traffic Act (StVG). The corresponding draft directive is in the final adoption process.

This session will give an overview of the current regulations worldwide.

We will present the basic ingredients of effective approval, considering:

•             virtual and physical tests,

•             SOTIF and cybersecurity,

taking the German Level 4 Regulation as the example, emphasizing the challenges and possible approaches to solving them.

Ms. Carrie Zhuo holds a bachelor’s degree for Economic. With the 15-year experience in the field of automotive testing and certification, and 10-year experience in sales team management, Carrie was appointed as the section manager of sales at TÜV SÜD Greater China Mobility in 2016. In 2019, she took a new role in the GCN Mobility Division and was heading the Sales & BD business line nationwide.

During the background of its globalization and technical revolution in mobility industry, Carrie shapes the business strategy and develop solution-selling services with team to provide the added value to automotive industry.

She firmly believes that next Level of mobility industry will be intelligent, connected and environmental-friendly. The solution TÜV SÜD provided to the industry in the new safety, security and sustainability challenges are the annotation to our vision.
