Aviation industry is the lifeline of international economic and cultural exchanges, but it is considered as pollution source, even though it has been making great efforts to improve the technology and management for saving energy and reducing emission.
Other than sustainability, the global COVID-19 crisis has currently forced airlines and aircraft manufacturers to focus on survivability. Will the crisis delay the technology research and development? Will accelerated retirements of inefficient aircraft help to reduce the pollution?
Whether the governments take the new different measures to help the industrial players to survive in terms of sustainability?
The low carbon expert and the members of Aviation & Aerospace Working Group will share their points of view on sustainable progress of the aviation industry from the perspectives of policy vs. regulations, technology innovation and business management.
