Given that leadership is value-based and relationship-permeated, one asks how leaders can transfer personal and organizational value to employees. One answer to this is through mentoring.
Starting a mentoring program in your company allows you to capitalize on your greatest resource, your employees. Developing their talent contributes to the company's growth, innovation, and bottom line. It shows management's interest, and care for an employee's potential with the company. Many mentoring programs never really 'get off the ground'. What are the barriers?
The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China welcomes you to a facilitated session about in-company mentoring programs. This session is facilitated by Ms Laura Mitchelson, Managing Director China & North East Asia and Ms Valerie Guglielmi, Head of Training and Coaching at ICUnet Intercultural Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
In this facilitated session, Laura Mitchelson and Valerie Guglielmi will help participants create their solutions, understand them, and own them, enabling the group to work cooperatively and effectively. Participants of this session are expected to take part in the discussion actively.
