The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the next joint financial services working group meeting. It will be held on Friday, 27th April starting at 14h00at the European Chamber linking both Beijing and Shanghai offices via videoconference.
At this meeting, we will the pleasure to welcome Ms Melody Yang, Partner at Simmons & Simmons, She will be delivering a presentation on the new regulatory framework for the asset management industry (“super guidance” (大资管新规)) which likely are going to enter into effect late this month or early May.
The Guiding Opinions on Regulating the Asset Management Business of Financial Institutions addresses two key themes, “preventing financial systemic risks” in this $16 trillion industry and “serving the real economy”. The “super guidance” will have significant repercussions on the behaviours of market players in the asset management industry and shape the form of asset management products.
