ABC/XYZ analysis is the combination of value/quantity(ABC)analysis and ability to forecast/consumption behavior(XYZ)of the parts spectrum/product spectrum. It is the basis for the categorization of material/products in supply classes(SC)/service classes(SC).
By ABC/XYZ Analysis,

•How to plan production and inventory management
While Kanban (Japanese forcard, label)is a tool,which controls demand visually and manages material supply in combination with theinformation flow between processes. Usually,the type of Kanban are production-Kanban and with drawal-kanban.
