Dear AFB Working Group members,
The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to join our AFB Working Group Meeting on Friday 17 March at 1430-1700pm at the European Chamber Shanghai & Beijing Office via conference call facility. The working group will be discussing AFB Position Paper with pen leads and active members on the overall timeline of the Paper draft process, as well as industry concerns, assessments and Key Recommendations (KRs). Attached please find the AFB Position Paper 2016/2017 in English and Chinese for your information.
The European Business in China – Position Paper (Position Paper) is the European Chamber’s primary annual publication. The 16th (2016/2017) edition of the Position Paper offers Chinese policy-makers nearly 900 recommendations that draw directly from the knowledge and expertise of the European Chamber’s more than 1,600 member companies. Last year’s Position Paper includes a review of the 13th Five-year Plan, a ‘dusting off’ of the Third Plenum’s Decision’s reforms and evaluation of their implementation, a review of the lack of reciprocity in bilateral investment relations, and the concerns of the European Chamber’s 25 workings groups about their respective sector’s operating environment. Therefore, to fully reflect the concerns and recommendations of the AFB sector, your participation is highly valued.
