Following up on Yiwu Vice Mayor Mr. XIONG Tao's visit to the European Chamber in March, we are organizing a day trip to Yiwu City on Wednesday, 29 June, 2016. In this trip, you will be able to participate in the exclusive dialogue with Mr. SHENG Qiuping, Yiwu Party Secretary and Mr. XIONG Tao, Yiwu Vice Mayor and visit the logistics facilities of Yiwu-Madrid freight railway.
Yiwu-Madrid, or Yixin'ou, feight railway is one of the flagship projects of China's One Belt One Road Initiative. Running across 8 countries (13052 KM), the railway connects Europe with the "Capital of Small Commodities" and serves as an important Euroasian international trade corridor.
