2016 is not going to be just “another year” for CSR in China.This year is the opening chapter of UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which consists of targets and topics guiding the development actions for the next 15 years. The Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), which highlights sustainability in its guideline, will start running the first project in the first quarter. Also China’s carbon market is wrapping up the preparation for the launch of a national emission trading scheme in 2017. All of these milestones are closely linked to CSR. They will help reshape the landscape of China’s development for the next 5-15 years.
