After opening remarks the attendees bid a fond farewell to Dr Wolfgang Wagner, who served on the local board for two years before moving to Shanghai this month, and welcomed Florian Schmied, CEO of EuroSino Invest as the new board member. Elections took place in the form of an email ballot, which had been conducted several days before the meeting with the following results: 19 out of 24 local  member companies approved with the remaining five either abstaining or unavailable to vote. Information of the board appears in the latest issue of EURObiz and is also available on the Chamber’s website.

Chapter General Manager Sierra Wang gave the 2012 Work Report and Deputy General Manager Buke Wang outlined the 2013 Working Plan. Afterwards all participants took part in an insightful strategic communication aimed at building a stronger structure to better  implement the Shenyang Chapter’s service levels for its local members. The occasion marked the first time that the Chamber’s new Secretary General, Adam Dunnett, attended a Shenyang Chapter board meeting. The three-hour meeting was fruitful and represented one of more important moments for the local Chapter.
