European Chamber Attends CCPIT Symposium
On 11th January, a European Chamber delegation was invited to attend a symposium organised by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). CCPIT Director Yang Ting and Director Zheng Wei welcomed the attendees and expressed appreciation for the European Chamber's responses to their questionnaire about China's business environment. At the meeting, members from Legal and Competition Working Group and Government Affairs Forum put forward recommendations on how to improve the Foreign Investment Law (Draft) and China's business environment.

The Legislative Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress held a symposium to solicit opinions on the draft Foreign Investment Law. European Chamber representatives were invited to attend the symposium and present members’ concerns.
